2. Why We Ask for Data
When you join Ignition in AI Era, we ask for your professional details (like your skills, interests, startup role, and social handles).
We ask for this data for one reason only: to power the Foundery ecosystem. Your profile helps our system match you with potential co-founders, team members, and collaborators so you can connect mutually and build faster.
3. Your Data is Encrypted & Safe
We do not sell, rent, or misuse your personal data. All of your profile information is securely stored and fully encrypted. We implement strict, industry-standard security measures to ensure your data cannot be accidentally lost, altered, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
4. WhatsApp Communities
Our largest and most active user base thrives within our WhatsApp communities. Joining these groups is completely optional and entirely your choice. If you choose to join, standard WhatsApp privacy policies apply to your communication within the groups. We currently offer three main community spaces:
1. Main Community (Ignition in AI Era)
This is our original WhatsApp community. It is extremely active but often full because it has already crossed the 2,000-member limit. You can still check — if there are slots available, you can join here.

A highly filtered, application-only group for serious builders. Features zero noise, active collaboration, and a highly curated network (requires a ₹112 filter fee).

- Identity Data: Name, username, and authentication IDs (e.g., Google OAuth).
- Contact Data: Email address (used only for essential account updates and notifications).
- Profile Data: Interests, job role, startup details, skills, and social links (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub).
- Usage Data: Basic analytics on how you interact with the Foundery to help us improve the ecosystem.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We only keep your data as long as you are an active member of the community. You have complete control over your builder identity. At any time, you can:
- Request to view the data we hold about you.
- Update or correct your profile information via the Foundery settings.
- Request complete deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we strongly encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit. We disclaim all liability associated with third-party data practices.

By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transmitting data over the internet. In the event of a legally recognized data breach, we will notify you and relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.
